Just like the way you describe this picture! So lovely!
Thanks for visiting, grayaton. I just call them the way I see them!
Nice photo, we call them lady birds
They are wonderful beetles, regardless of what they are called. Here is a webpage with lots of information about them: http://www.lostladybug.org/files/9%20LLP%20All%20About%20LadybugsPDF.pdf
And bring some friends so we can call it a party!
My peony buds are covered with ants and ladybugs right now. It really does look like a feeding frenzy.
Lovely! Peony blooms are gorgeous, my favorite.
The peonies should start blooming next week. It looks like I will have a good crop this year.
Hi,
What a lovely photo, great shot getting these two lady bugs together, and I agree there doesn’t seem to be much room for them.
I thought it was pretty amusing to see the two of them crowded on the top of one bud.
Beautiful I love macro pictures.
Thanks for stopping by Sharine – looking at the world with a macro lens is a very interesting hobby.
I love this one! A very clever shot and your sentiments match so perfectly. Adorable.
Thanks from me and my little red friends.
Absolutely stunning photos, as always.
Thanks, but I couldn’t have done it without my models. They are such patient little bugs – often sitting for minutes without moving while I circle them taking pictures.
Great capture! These are hard to photograph. I had ladybirds also in my “close” photo.
Wow, you got a Ménage à trois. Wonderful photo!
So sweet. I like your interpretation of what may be going through their little heads. lol Great macro!
Thanks E.C. Glad you had time to stop by. I know your garden is keeping you busy.
Aw man, I hate those small restaurant tables! Especially when they don’t give you chairs! Super cool shot, Margie! : )
Thanks Mark – little ladybugs, little tables, I guess.
Very nice picture!
Thanks Alex – I had very cooperative subjects!
You are very welcome!!
