Just Listen to Me – It’s Not About the Nail

My problems might seem really obvious to someone else, but I don’t necessarily want to be told how to fix them. I might just want someone to listen to me – show me that they care about me. If I want advice, I’ll ask for it.

Now, I just need to follow my own advice.

  1. I’ll try not to dwell on the obvious, like “you hit the nail right on the head here” or “you really hammered the point home”, but this post did gave me a splitting headache.

  2. Which is funnier or truer to life? Sometimes we just need someone to listen. Other times, the solution is hitting us in the head, someone wants to provide good advice and we just want to be heard.
