  1. Hi – Our hearts are heavy that you have lost a cabin that has brought so many fond memories for both our families. We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

    • Yes Dorothy, I know your are as sad as I am. As you know, we made very few changes to the cabin, except for the little island in the kitchen. I have been thinking a lot about you and what a wonderful job you and your husband did in restoring the cabin after 2005. It makes me very sad that the cabin was destroyed permanently on our watch.

  3. Thank you for posting the information to our cabin owners who are so hungry for dialogue and contact within our community. Please keep it going. Our strength is in each other. God bless.

    • Thanks for your comments Patty. I won’t know much more than anyone else does until we can all go out to Hidden Valley and see the damage.
The best tool we have for communication is the Hidden Valley Facebook Group – almost as good as chatting over the fence – and without the mosquitoes.

  4. Hi Margie – what warms my heart is that you loved it as much as we did. We couldn’t have had a better couple buy it and made memories that will last a lifetime. I am hoping to go out in the next couple of weeks to take a look and help Linda and Daryl but not sure when. If your there I will definetly stop in and say Hi.

    • Thanks for the cheery message, Charles. If the weather wasn’t so darn hot right now down south, I think there are a number of ‘snowbirds’ who would love to abandon all this water and a horrendous batch of mosquitoes!
