Grass, Bees, Thistles in Belchen Germany

Original of my favourite photo from a trip to The Belchen.

The Belchen (35 Km south of Freiburg) is a mountain in the Black Forest of Germany. The Belchen Cableway takes you up to scenic viewpoints and hiking trails.

    • I recently downloaded the free program, Topaz Studio. It has quite a few built in adjustments and a growing library of ‘one click’ effects that are created by the user community.

The splattered drawing was one of these effects – unfortunately I didn’t save the name of the effect (you can add it to a favourites list).

I use GIMP first to crop, edit colour levels and sharpen – but I think I will be able to do all that in Topaz Studio…
